Finally got to Iganga yesterday
. We squeezed into a mini van packed with 20 people for a 1 hour ride to Mbale then caught the big bus for the 2 hour ride to Iganga. We had one bathroom break on the way. Here in Uganda that means the bus pulls over and you all find a spot in the bush. After the long ride, I wanted to treat the team so I darted across a busy street to buy some bottles of Coke. Needless to say, the team was thrilled!
Update: My headlamp was on all last night but I couldn’t turn it off. Do you know why? Because my headlamp fell 16 feet down to the bottom of the pit latrine. So…yea, not cool.
