Hasta luego!

This was a week of goodbyes and hellos.
-I said goodbye to Somerdale and hello to Vineland as I moved the last of my belonging to my dad’s house.
-I said goodbye to my co-workers and tomorrow I will be saying hello to the Spanish Language Institute in Costa Rica for 7-weeks of intensive study.
-I said goodbye to corporate engineering employment (which I’ve been part of for the past 9 years) and hello to engineering volunteer/nonprofit.

I am excited (and a wee bit nervous) for the following months of international projects, local volunteering and fundraising. This is going to be an amazing year!!!

My project schedule is the same as the previous post, except I did determine that the Rowan Engineering student project will be in Panama. We will be training the community on how to drill for water, case the well and build a PVC pump.

I should be able to find an internet hub to update you all on the Spanish school (Jan 12-March 1) and the scouting trip to El Salvador (Jan 16- Jan 19), but if I can’t connect, my friend, Melissa, will update you all via messages I can text to her.
